Scholarship from Freemasons

Klara Angawa was awarded the 2025 Musical scholarship from the Gothenburg Freemasons. The pricecermony was held in Gothenburg and Klara also performed the first movement of the Rebecca Clarke viola sonata at the scholarship consert a couple of weeks later at the same venue.

Internship at Capetown Philharmonic Orchestra

From October to December 2025, Klara Angawa completed an internship with the CPO. As a violist, she took part as an ad-hoc musician with the CPO and also played with the CPYO and its string quartet, performing at several events during her stay, in total 18 concerts.

Alongside her musical work, Klara worked closely with the administrative team, supported library and event activities. The internship gave her the opportunity to spend extended time in South Africa and offered valuable insight into orchestral structures different from those in Europe, experience in funding models, marketing, and the organisation’s extensive youth education programmes, making the period very inspiring and educational.

”A special thanks to the CPO for welcoming me so warmly into the organisation and making sure that my time in Cape Town becme such a memorable experience”
